Strengthen your data skills with a new master's degree in Data Stewardship at SDU

SDU is creating a new master's degree program in Data Stewardship that will greatly benefit Danish media companies. Read below what this program entails: 

Danish companies and organizations are increasingly seeking employees with strong qualifications within data quality, compliance, data ethics and governance. The University of Southern Denmark is now accommodating this need with a new Masters in Data Stewardship – a flexible continuing education targeted employees with a higher education and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

Why is this program relevant to you?

The program has been created in close collaboration with both public and private companies, and is aimed at employees who must:

  • Support data-driven business processes and ensure data quality.
  • Navigate complex data management and IT security – including GDPR and FAIR-principles.
  • Combine business understanding with technical insight and strategic development.

Practical and flexible master's degree program

The program is offered as a part-time study with the option to complete individual modules or the entire 60 ECTS program at your own pace. The teaching is case-based and balances between theory and concrete data challenges from working life.

Prepare your employees for the data demands of the future

The program covers, among other things:

  • Data governance, data quality and data ethics
  • Programming and data integration
  • Change management and organizational development
  • Business intelligence and strategic use of data
